How can I get the most out of my hot water heater without calling for a replacement every 9-12 years?

Hot water tank care is something every man can handle, Replacing the Sacrificial anode on your hot water tank and cleaning your internal fittings like the drain valve and pressure relief valve with baking soda and vinegar every 3 years or so of which is a 30~ dollar job to do yourself can make your tank last you even 30 years. If you are having difficulty with this I charge a low 160 to come and do this service for you, saving you over a grand by doubling your tanks lifespan.

My Gas equipment won’t stay lit, is this something I can fix myself or should I call a professional?

There are a few simple things anyone can do with basic tools of which are common problems that lead to service calls. Keep your money in your wallet by cleaning the flame sensor or thermopile, and making sure that switches are properly depressed or turned on.

My house is cold and the Furnace turns on and off a lot.

If this is happening there are a few things that could be the problem, your thermostat could be located near a window or alternate heat source like a stove or heat register. Your furnace filters could be getting dirty causing your furnace blower to gain too much resistance and turn off, maybe your motors simply need some oil, your thermostat could be low on batteries or not working properly you might need to use a thermometer to check if the thermostat is showing reliable readings, and lastly the cold air vents within your home could be clogged with pillows or pet dander and dust, causing a similar issue as you would with a dirty filter.
